This blog is written by a sole individual: me, apart from the occasional guest post, but those are always clearly marked.
All opinions expressed by the writer of this blog are entirely his own – not those of any corporation, third party or institution, unless you count the fictitious Trust Tommy Industries, but that’s in the pipe dream folder right now. My school, Castletroy College, is not affiliated with my writing.
As with many personal blogs, my opinions are subject to change. What I think about a certain film when I review it in April may differ from my second re-watching in July. I won’t edit the original post to include the ‘updated’ opinion. Basically, all opinions are subject to change (sometimes on an hourly basis) and all opinions are only as up-to-date as when I write them.
In cases where I link to third-party website, the links are provided for humorous or educational value and do not denote affiliation with them. I have no control over the content of third-party sites.
Comments
While I’m an advocate of free speech, I have my limits and will on occasion exercise my ability to edit the comments you submit. I won’t change what you’re saying, but any slanderous or libelous material shall be removed, as will any serious swear words. This is rare, however, and entirely at my discretion.
Anonymous comments are personally frowned upon, and if I know you, I reserve the right to edit your comment to reflect your first name, should I know it or be able to find it out. I’m a firm believer in standing by your words, just like you would in real life.
When commenting, you are asked for your email address. Rest assured that it won’t be sold or otherwise used for promotional material.
Finally, your IP address is logged by every website you visit, and Trust Tommy is no different. I won’t sell that either, although in the past (mainly with anonymous comments) I have used a tracker to try and attempt to see where you’re from. This is only for personal curiosity reasons, and they’re rarely more accurate than telling me your county – google ‘IP tracker’ to see what I mean.
