Choices

Back when I first changed my theme to the current one, podcaster Cian McMahon had this to say about the header picture:
And so the header is now of something pretty in Ireland – admittedly, the Irish Sea off the coast of Rosslare Harbour could hardly be considered ‘near your [my] house’ but I think it’s quite pretty and I’ll make an exception.
I took advantage of not having school to see some friends that I don’t get to see half as often enough as I’d like. One of them lives in Kildare and one in Wexford. We went to Green Day together and since they’ve been to CTYI before, they were nice enough to introduce me to their CTYI friends so I’d know people when I went there for the first time later this month. CTYI is a 3 week course in DCU – it’s not exactly a summer school but you do learn things and take classes: Conor and I are doing Journalism, for instance. Off the top of my head, you can also do Novel-Writing, Astronomy, Psychology, Medicine, War Studies, Law and others which I can’t think of.
We also went to Wexford for 2 days at the weekend. I got to rekindle my love for blue Jones soda, finally get round to watching Anchorman (I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly…) as well as see a bit of Rosslare Harbour from a boat (where the header image was taken). We also went swimming!
Overall, it was an awesome couple of days with some awesome people :)
