Man, I love Easter holidays. They’re made all the more sweeter by the fact that a) it’s sunny and b) I’m spending quite a lot of my time working on RENT. As well as performing the songs, it’s really enjoyable because all the cast feels like one big family and we get on really well. In between it all, I’ve been catching up on sleep and drumming.
I missed drumming. A lot. It was great to get behind them and play the familiar songs.
In other news, I finally managed to defeat the evil monster that was growing on my head – I got me a haircut. I feel lighter, colder and generally more willing and able to appear in a public forum.
Recently, I also saw Bounty Hunter at the cinema. The film stars Gerard Butler (excellent actor) as struggling bounty hunter Milo and Jennifer Aniston (bleugh) as his bail-jumping ex-wife Nicole. Much to his glee, Milo learns that Nicole is his next target and begins his assignment with enthusiasm. However, Nicole is determined to escape from Milo’s custody once he has found her. He is determined to find and put her back into jail and take the credit. Very enjoyable film – it’s not meant to be Die Hard 4.0, so just take it for what it is and enjoy it.
