if I didn’t know anything about Lisbon I would check to see what people who should (and probably do) know intend voting, and vote accordingly. God knows we emulate and copy all kinds of pop and sport stars in how we dress/behave etc. I don’t think it would be going over the top to trust those in the know… and by the way, all of our ministers, practically all of our TDs, most of our political journalists, 90% of business leaders amongst others, think we should vote yes. Since I trust these people (leave out the journalists) to run the country, I’d be happy enough to trust them to guide me in voting direction. I know many people are not though… preferring “nobody’s going to tell me…. etc”, but in most cases this is just arrogance/stubbornness.
