As I am clinically deaf I have very particular hearing issues and I still need to listen to music so I ave reviewed no less than 32 sets of all different headphones in my day including skull candies. ill tell you now they are a no go area, candies look awesome but they just dont have the frequency range of others. skull candias have a general output of about 18 to 20'000Hz and sometimes you just need a little more than that!!! So my recomendation to you for best price, incredible bass sound and they are in ear buds too are the Sennheizer CX400's and I have a full review and even comments from people who ended up buying them here: http://lettesblog.wordpress.com/2009/04/15/sennheiser-cx400-headphones-review/ and I know they have them in HMV on sale at the moment too :) this is one thing I am very partial about and serious about.
