Was terrified of bikes really till I moved to the ‘dam.
My first day renting bikes and my mantra the whole day was “this is not fun, so not bloody fun”
However after getting a bike that actually fits and that is comfortable I love it.
Cycle 17km each day and fly around the city, with bags of shopping and sometimes friends on the back. I’m already dreading the thought of leaving my lovely bike here when I move back, despite my bravery here, cycling in Dublin is another story.

But you are right, it is a different perspective and an amazing thrill, and a fab way to get around :)
