Day 4 has a song that epitomizes easy listening. Can only be You Can’t Always Get What You Want by Band From TV. Geddit? Banned from TV? Oh.. nevermind :)
Band From TV are a charity band from Los Angeles, USA, comprised of different popular TV actors from shows like Lost, Desperate Housewives and many more. They get together and use their celebrity pull to make sweet music.
This one’s my favourite, and I’ve referenced it in a good few blogposts. The drums are sublime while the piano is jazz-tacular.
You just gotta love upbeat numbers like this.
You Can’t Always Get What You Want wasn’t actually written by Band From TV, in case you didn’t know, it’s originally a Rolling Stones number. I’m not sure I like the etherial choir at the start of it, but once the song gets started, it’s good. :)
LOVE Band from TV I was first introduced to them through looking up more on Hugh Laurie and House, OMG I love that show! Band from TV are awesome :)
