Tommy’s first iPhone case RIP.
February 19th – July 3rd, 2009.
Dearly beloved, we gather here to say our goodbyes.. here she lies! No-one knew her worth.
That’s never good!
Ah well, the poor girl had served me well. I got it the day after the iPhone arrived. I thought that one iPhone was enough to total. Plus, the Blog Awards were the day after, and I wasn’t about to go to a hotel full of drunken bloggers without some sort of iPhone cover.
So I moseyed into CompuB (Limerick’s Apple store), and found a nice case. My early reservations about it being bulk-tastic quickly vanished and I loved it, even going as so far as to be using John or Mum or Dad’s iPhone and be thinking “this feels all wrong”
My iPhone is currently in my pocket and I’m terrified. I’m in Dublin all next week, and heading off to France this day week, which means I’m away from Limerick until the 22nd or the 23rd.
However, Dad is at home. Until Friday at least, so what I do is phone CompuB tomorrow and get them to order me a new case, which Dad collects and brings up with him on Friday afternoon! He’s a wunderdad like that, I’m sure he won’t mind, eh Den15? :)
So, I buy one of these.

Depends on what you wear more? Blue or Red. I’d go with blue.
But secretly I think yellow is the hot colour now. just snapped on my nice Speck Yellow Satin Soft Touch Case for my MacBook… ooooo….

Sorry now Tommy but none … I’ve been through 11 skins for the phone so far and I’ve tried all types. I’ve settled for two. The incase slider ( Apple Store or eBay ) or the Capsule Rebel (switcheasy.com) they are both excellent cover that bit more costly but you know your phone will be safe :-).

black. had it for my Gen1 iPhone and loved it. the Revo cases are fab and hard to break. no funky smell..ever.. and the screen protectors are pretty good. iSkins are good quality for sure.

The fact that I’m not allowing anyone vote pink, light blue or yellow shows the fact that I’m happy with whatever the commenters choose, right?

In case anyone’s interested, I’m perfectly happy with either red, blue or black, I couldn’t decide myself so I said it’d be fun to let you choose. You still have 6 or so hours to vote

Went ahead and ordered my case – sorry if I was a bit earlier.
The winner was… BLACK
It got 11 votes. Red was in second position with 8, blue trailed behind with only 4.

@Niall already have a screen protector on it. Bought my iPhone second hand from eBay and it came with it. Works great. I’ll only be using the outer shell of the Revo

When I was your age phone only came in Black and there was no way they would fit in your pocket. They were a tonne weight and attached to a cable!
