Nobody out there is normal. We are all unique. I have a brother who is blind in one eye, I once said to him:- "You probably see more with one eye, than most people see with two"! What is 'normal' but the average of everyone else. 'Average' is misleading, you need standard deviations to refine it. Tommy's case looks easy to fix - hey presto, someone invents a cure for CP.
