Assorted stuff

In Dublin today

What does it say about a man when he feels the need to do a blogpost the night before because he won’t do a good one on an iPhone in the car up the next morning. Something not-very-good anyway. Hey, I never said I *wasn’t* addicted to blogging!

So, today I’m up in Dublin. I’ve done my obligatory post on ICE, which went out on Sunday, so that I can be linked to via RTE’s site. Anyone know the numbers of RTE’s site? I’d say it wouldn’t be too shabby, so hello new readers!

New iPhone software was announced earlier today! Copy, cut and paste, MMS, searching were all introduced. It’s free for current iPhone users but no sign of an jailbreak/unlock (well, there wouldn’t be) so I’m staying put on my 2.2.1 for the time being. I never use MMS anyway.. :)

Then again, it’s not available for us normies (non-developers) until June, so there is time for an unlock to appear.

Speaking of June, wow! It isn’t long til summer now! When I go back to school on Thursday, I have school until the 3rd of April, after which I have two full weeks off and back on the 20th. After that I *think* I may have a midterm between then and finishing for the summer holidays at the end of May. Even if I don’t, it’s only little over a month.

Not so long when you break it down like that!

Went into town today to meet up with Sean O’ Grady. Saw my friend in the parade as I scoured the streets looking for a way of crossing the road. I got dropped on Thomas St, and went down to Brown Thomas before realising that Eddie Rocket’s was on the other side. So I set off down O’Connell’s Street and down almost to Mallow Street before I met the end of the parade and they re-opened the street and I managed to cross the street and make my slow way back up toward Eddie Rockets.

Eventually made it though!
