I'm sure they are really nice guys but it doesn't always make them great presenters. Like George W Bush seems like a great guy to have a few beers with, but it doesn't mean you can trust him to run a country! I met Mr. Tubridy a few weeks back in a pub and found him to be a sound guy. Seems genuinely interested in what you've got to say and that's even after a few pints consumed by myself, so as you can imagine the conversation was amazing!! :) I think the media themselves have a part to play in some peoples opinions on say Pat Kenny for example. Not gonna say i'm the biggest fan of his interviewing style, but maybe when the camera is off and he's just being "normal" Pat he is an alright fella who enjoys a bit of banter and craic.
