I don’t think for a second this actually happened, and I would have to search long and hard for someone who’d actually attempt the stunt in the email.

Anyway, it was written as a joke. I seriously doubt someone’d continue a correspondence for that long, money or no money. Wouldn’t ringing the person be a much more efficient solution?

True lots of people have a spider phobia, but do I agree with you saying that if they got this particular email they’d have a heart attack? Not a chance in hell. This is a crude drawing of one with a smiley face probably done in Paint. Not gonna kill someone.

As for the flower, yes, but do remember, this is a joke. This didn’t happen. This is something someone did on a Sunday afternoon because they were bored.

And by the way, if you’re planning to stick round, I only have one rule here, when it comes to comments. I support free speech and all that but I have zero tolerance for sarcastic jerks trying to be funny by making personal attacks (“some of you will unfortunately require a considerably longer period of time”). If the rest of your post hadn’t had valid points I felt I should address, I would’ve chucked your comment in the bin.

Sorry folks, but that isn’t the least bit funny. In fact, it isn’t even humorous. Why? Because lots of perfectly ordinary people – people somewhat like me – have a spider phobia. If you think about it for a minute (some of you will unfortunately require a considerably longer period of time), this phobia might ring a bell (not literally). It’s called Arachnophobia. Yes, that’s right, it was a movie! In layman’s terms (hopefully you’ve been laid & are therefore able to follow along) it means a fear of spiders. A person who finds a large spider hiding in an email will likely have a really terrible moment, perhaps even a lethal heart-related ‘incident’. So if you want to kill somebody, send them an email with an attached spider. But if you are sincere about wanting to clear up a financial misunderstanding, a drawing of a flower would be much better.
