With drumming, I have the laptop propped on my desk on one side of my room. Directly opposite it is the drum kit. I have the remote in my pocket and can control what music plays. It goes something like this…

Laptop => Stereo => Headphones => Me

Basically. My laptop plays music through the stereo, to which the headphones are connected.

It works
